Win Your Own Pet Portrait in My Facebook Fan Page Contest!

I wanted to tell you about the exciting contest I am holding on Facebook. If you go to my facebook site http://artist.to/gwenfox/ you can join the fan page and sign up for the contest. Only the members of the fan page are eligible to win the prize.
To become a fan click on the yellow flag to the right of my name and page title. Or under my picture there is a place to click to become a fan.
So what, do you ask, is the prize?
As a lot of you know I now am painting animals. this new turn in my career has proven to be one of complete joy. Not only do I love painting the animal portraits but I also love being able to portray their soul.
Two dogs, Abner and Emma, both German Shepherds and one very old soft gray
cat named Maggie possess my heart. Our animals give us love and devotion without demanding or expecting anything in return. We are the lucky ones in this joint venture of life.
The prize is a portrait of your special friend !!! This portrait will be done in oil on a wrap-around contemporary canvas…no frame. This is a $1200 value so go to the site and add your name to the contest!

It is so good to hear what’s going on in your life. I miss talking with you.
I am so excited to see you are painting animals. We have a white standare poodle, who looks much like the poodle on your blog. His name is Spencer. He is 9 months old and is following in our beloved Savoie’s paws. Savoie passed away last summer and the house was not the same without the patter of paws – so Spencer has come to the rescue and has contiuned sharing love and companionship to Dan and me.

Heather…sorry for the long delay. Moving takes on a life of its own. The contest is over but keep watching as I am sure I will run it again.
