I find it interesting that my Father was a farmer/businessman like you. He had to drop out of school in the 8h grade as well. I am not a writer but I do believe your stories are worth publishing. There are many ways to go about publishing your own thoughts and stories that were not available years ago. The self publishing industry has developed into a way to get books out there that the big publishing houses don't want to fool with. They tend to want to deal with those who already have a recognizable name. One place I would check with is www.wakeuplive.com. If they can't help you I bet they can lead you to a good source.
